I can remember in the 2nd grade. Ms. Macoda tells the class, "Just wait till the forth grade students, teachers will not tell you anything. They will already expect you to know the assignment, don't expect to get any slack." Then when that time came around in the 4th grade, it was no different. Mrs. Marshall would say, "Just wait till the fifth grade students, don't expect to get any slack. Teachers are much more harsh." The fifth grade rolls around, Mrs. Woods repeats the same thing, "wait untill high school, no teachers will give you any slack. Just wait..." High school rolls around, no real surprise there, (minus Ms. Dees). Mrs. Bowman tells my class, "yeaaah, in college you kids are going to die. Just wait...." So here I am, halfway into my second semester in college. I'm making better grades than highschool and nothing at all has surprised me. The teachers all cut you some slack, and they (for the most part) always give you a second chance. I have to admit, college isn't as bad as all of the teachers made it out to be. No complaints here.
I played in a FREE paintball tournament hosted by the national guard last Saturday. Pretty fun. Everything was paid for, even the damn lunch. Woot woot. Here is my team. They are some good friends from the floor of my dorms. We didn't win, but it was hella crunk.
And last but not least, here is Spring formal. I had a shitload of fun. PS: Just so you would know, since August 19th (the day I came up here) I have gained negative 2 lbs. Go me. You have no idea how hard it is to do that until you get up here. That's all ~Davie |
